Description
“Nile Sires” by Ann Hatchett-Sprague is an elegant, hand-signed equestrian art print featuring a magnificent gray Arabian stallion standing in shallow water against the warm, atmospheric landscape of the Egyptian Nile.
The stallion’s refined head, arched neck, dark flowing mane, and elevated tail capture the distinctive elegance of the Arabian breed. Soft desert colors, distant pyramids, and subtle reflections in the water create a peaceful composition with a timeless Old World character.
The lower border bears the handwritten inscription “Jewel of the Nile”, along with the title “Nile Sires” and the artist’s signature, Ann Hatchett-Sprague. The artwork also displays a copyright date of 2000 and a gold-tone notation that appears to read “NCEB / 30.”
Beautifully presented in an ornate gold-tone frame with detailed decorative molding, deep forest-green matting, and coordinating gold-tone inner borders. The rich frame and dark mat provide a striking contrast to the subtle colors of the Arabian horse portrait.
Measuring approximately 19.5 × 18 inches overall, this framed artwork makes a distinguished accent for an equestrian office, ranch home, traditional study, Western living room, or Arabian horse art collection.
