Description
If a Miss Alvin place setting is missing its salad fork, this individual sterling piece supplies the needed replacement without requiring another group of flatware. Its recognized pattern and clear maker marks also make it a focused addition for someone building an Alvin service one piece at a time.
The raised border follows the handle from its rounded end toward the bowl. The reverse is marked Alvin, Sterling and Pat’d 1939. At approximately 6.5 inches long and 35.43 grams, the fork gives you exact measurements and markings to compare with the pieces already at your table.
Please review both photographs for the pattern detail, reverse markings and present condition.
Condition
Very good pre-owned condition. There is light surface wear and normal use marks consistent with age. I found no significant damage.
